Dapaveldactin® 10 mg
RamedaDapaveldactin 10 mg contains dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor that blocks the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, allowing excess glucose to be eliminated through the urine. This mechanism helps reduce blood glucose levels independently of insulin secretion. The medication is indicated not only for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, but also for reducing the risk of hospitalization for heart failure and slowing the progression of chronic kidney disease in eligible patients. It is administered orally once daily, with or without food, and should be used in combination with a healthy diet, regular exercise, and other prescribed medications when appropriate.

Discontinue temporarily before major surgery or prolonged fasting due to the risk of diabetic ketoacidosis. Not recommended for patients with type 1 diabetes because of an increased risk of diabetic ketoacidosis. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if the potential benefits outweigh the risks and under medical supervision. Seek immediate medical attention if symptoms of diabetic ketoacidosis occur, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, rapid breathing, or unusual fatigue.
