POTRICAL-B Ointment
FarmatekPOTRICAL-B is a combination topical ointment formulated with calcipotriol, which regulates keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation, and betamethasone dipropionate, a potent corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative properties. The combination provides complementary mechanisms of action to improve psoriatic plaques by reducing inflammation, scaling, redness, and skin thickening. Topical therapy is considered the first-line treatment for patients with mild to moderate psoriasis, and combination therapy with a vitamin D analogue and corticosteroid is recommended by dermatology guidelines.

Indications
POTRICAL-B is indicated for: Treatment of mild to moderate plaque psoriasis. Reduction of erythema, scaling, plaque thickness, and inflammation associated with psoriasis. First-line topical treatment for localized psoriasis and as an adjunct to phototherapy, systemic therapy, or biologic treatment when appropriate.
Precautions
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Do not apply to infected, ulcerated, or severely damaged skin. Use cautiously on the face, genital, and intertriginous areas unless directed by a physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment duration due to the risk of systemic corticosteroid absorption and disturbances in calcium metabolism. Avoid occlusive dressings unless prescribed by a healthcare professional. Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding and only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Discontinue treatment and consult a healthcare provider if severe irritation, allergic reactions, or worsening psoriasis occurs.
