DrogsanUROFAST Sachet contains fosfomycin trometamol, a broad-spectrum antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the elimination of susceptible bacteria causing urinary tract infections. It is administered as a single oral dose, providing convenient and effective treatment for uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections in adults. UROCARE is also indicated for the prevention of infections related to diagnostic and surgical procedures involving the urinary tract. The sachet should be dissolved in a glass of water and taken on an empty stomach, preferably at bedtime after emptying the bladder, to maximize absorption and therapeutic effectiveness.

Indications
UROCARE is indicated for: Treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by fosfomycin-susceptible bacteria. Prevention of urinary tract infections associated with diagnostic or surgical procedures involving the urinary tract.
Precautions
Do not use if you are allergic to fosfomycin or any of the product ingredients. Contraindicated in patients with severe renal failure or those undergoing hemodialysis. Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. Not recommended for upper urinary tract infections (e.g., pyelonephritis). Contains sucrose; patients with diabetes or sugar intolerance should consult their healthcare provider before use. Take on an empty stomach (2–3 hours before or after meals), as food may reduce absorption. Inform your doctor if you are taking metoclopramide, medications that increase gastrointestinal motility, or vitamin K antagonists, as interactions may occur. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical advice. Seek medical attention if severe or persistent diarrhea occurs during or after treatment, as this may indicate antibiotic-associated colitis
